Ibrahim A. Aon, "Abe", age 88, of South Lyon, passed away peacefully, Saturday, August 13, 2022.

Abe was born in Jerusalem, Palestine, August 8, 1934, the son of the late Mary and Abdalla Aon.

Abe was a hard working man and worked as a hair stylist for over 60 years, owning his own salon, Aon's Hair Salon in Farmington Hills.  He is a well-known member of the Farmington Hills community for over 50 years.  At the salon he styled many prominent officials of the Farmington Hills area.  He was a proud member of many civic clubs in the area including, Farmington Hills Optimist Club and Beautification Commission to name a few.  He spent his free time playing the lottery and enjoying his love for flowers.  Most of all, Abe enjoyed spending time with family and friends and traveling the world.  In fact, he just got back from a cruise with his family this June.  One of his favorite sayings after playing the lottery was, "I missed it by one".  He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and many clients he served over the years in Farmington Hills.

Abe is the loving husband of Souhaila "Sue", for 46 years; beloved father of Natalie Aon, Dina Foreman (Michael) and Abe Aon (Autumn); dearest grandfather of Allison Foreman, Arabella Aon, Abe Aon and Ashwin Aon; cherished brother of Suad Kattan and the following deceased, Juliet Dikha, Nahil Boutilier, Bishara Aown, Diana Omron and Aon Aon "Mike. He is also survived and loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.

The Aon family will receive guests Thursday, August 25, 2-8 pm at the funeral home, with a prayer service at 7 pm.

A funeral Mass will be Friday, August 26, 11 am, (in state 10:00 am), St Rafka Maronite Catholic Church, 32765 Lyndon, Livonia.

Immediately following Mass a funeral procession will take Abe to his final place of rest, Glen Eden Memorial Park, Livonia.
