Georgette, age 87, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2022.

Georgette was born January 3, 1935, in Detroit, the daughter of Nicholas and Nellie (Rashid) Salloum.  She married Joseph Masamery in 1954, and sadly, he preceded her in death in 1968.

Surviving are her children, Linda (the late Gerald d. 2020) Zawrotny, Donna Masamery, George (Susana) Masamery and, Joseph (Patricia) Masamery; grandchildren, Jay Zawrotny, Lauren Zawrotny, Kira Masamery, Joseph Masamery and, Gina Masamery; brother, Dr. Robert (Sue) Salloum; and in-laws Marge (Joseph) Daratony.  Georgette was preceded in death by siblings, Gloria (John) Vecore, Phillip (Norma) Salloum, Edward (Janice) Salloum; and in-laws, Nancy (Roger) Teed and Roseann (Mike) Shamo.

The Masamery family will receive guests on Monday, December 19 ^th , from 2-8 pm, with sharing of memories at 6:30 pm, followed by a Scripture Service at 7 pm, at the funeral home.

A funeral procession will depart the Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 20 ^th , 11 am, to Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Chapel for committal prayers. A luncheon will follow the committal prayers at 1pm at the Regency Manor and Banquet Center, 25228 W. 12 Mile Rd., Southfield 48034.
