Frank "Dan" Turkovich, age 76, of Farmington, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 29, 2025.

Dan was born May 19, 1949, in Detroit, the son of Frank and Hazel (Dilley) Turkovich, Dan went on to earn both his bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Michigan. He enjoyed a long and successful career as an automotive engineer, known for his dedication and problem-solving mind.

Dan married the love of his life, Carol Jean Monks, on October 3, 1981. Together they shared a wonderful life filled with love, laughter, and devotion to family.

Dan was a loving husband and a wonderful father who always made sacrifices for his family. He never missed a chance to be present at his children's events and took great pride in celebrating their accomplishments. In leisure Dan found great joy in spending time outdoors with family and friends, whether going for a sail, lounging by the pool, or conversing with neighbors in the park.

Dan will be remembered for his kind heart, steady presence, and the quiet strength he brought to those who loved him most.

Dan is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Carol; son Daniel (Rajani) Turkovich; daughter, Karen (Adam) Eicher; and brother, Robert (Marilou) Turkovich.

The Turkovich family will receive guests on Monday, November 3, 2-8 pm, at the funeral home.

A funeral service is planned for Tuesday, November 4, 11 am, also at the funeral home.

Private interment will take place at Parkview Cemetery in Livonia.
