Frank T.C.
Ho
Sep 29, 1924 — Sep 8, 2024
Farmington
Frank Ho (何唐篪) was born in Hubei province on September 29, 1924. As the son of a schoolteacher and the second of six siblings, Frank grew up amidst the turmoil of the Sino-Japanese War.
In 1947, Frank was commissioned as a lieutenant in the Republic of China Air Force. During the political turmoil in China, he was transferred to the Air Force headquarters in Taipei, Taiwan. In 1954, Frank joined the Taiwan Power Company as an accountant and later was promoted to Section Chief, overseeing a team of 60.
A life changing moment came during a Chinese New Year when Frank attended a church service in Taipei. He was deeply moved by the Gospel message. After a time of seeking, he accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. Frank married Che-Yeng on January 24, 1960, and together they were blessed with three sons: Peter, John, and Daniel.
In 1973, Frank and Che-Yeng immigrated the United States and settled in Farmington Hills, Michigan, believing it offered a better future for their children. With the help of Che-Yeng's sister Che and her husband San, the family was able to adjust to life in the new country.
In the mid-1980's, Frank along with a group of faithful Christians founded the Chinese Christian Fellowship which grew to become the Chinese Gospel Church of Livonia. For more than 30 years, Frank served the church in many leadership positions including the board president and elder. He preached many Sunday messages extolling the believers to be faithful to God and His Word. He and Che-Yeng cared deeply for people and welcomed many, young and old, to their home to share the love and message of Jesus. Many came to faith in Christ through their witness by words and deeds.
Frank Ho's life was a testament to his faith, family, and dedication to serving others. Though he will be deeply missed by his wife, three sons, and seven grandchildren, his legacy of faith and service endures. His family celebrates his life and his homecoming to his heavenly Father.
Frank's funeral ceremony is planned for Saturday morning, September 14, at 11:00 am (in state at 10:00 am) at Chinese Gospel Church, 35301 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, 48154.
Interment will follow on Saturday at Parkview Memorial Cemetery, Livonia, MI.
