Francois Ostoja, age 83, passed away on February 22, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of resilience and warmth. Born in Paris, France, to the late Frane and Franka Ostoja, Frank's life was marked by remarkable achievements and cherished moments.

In 1968, Frank secured a silver medal in ski jump, proudly representing France. His early career involved assisting doctors in the emergency room, eventually transitioning into a managerial role at an apartment complex. Frank's versatile skills extended beyond his professional life; he was a gifted handyman, capable of fixing anything that crossed his path.

A true adventurer at heart, Frank's passion for travel led him to Germany, his favorite destination. Summers were reserved for picturesque trips to Holland, where he and his adored wife, Nell, relished the beach and Frank worked on his tan.

Frank also exhibited courage and dedication through his service in the United States Military, a chapter in his life that added to his rich tapestry of experiences.

In 2006, Frank sealed his lifelong love by marrying Nell in Reno, Nevada. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and shared adventures. Frank's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Frank is survived by his soul mate and wife, Nell Ann Dier; sisters, Odesa and Maja; brothers-in-law, Tade and Stripe. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ivo Ostoja.

The Ostoja family will receive guests Saturday, March 2, 9 – 11 am, at the funeral home, where a funeral service will be held at 11 am honoring his life.
