Francis P.
Hodges, Jr, "Frank"
Dec 3, 1983 — Feb 17, 2024
Farmington
Francis P. Hodges, Jr, "Frank", age 40, of Farmington, passed away peacefully, Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Ascension Providence Hospital, Novi campus.
Frank was born in Southfield, MI, December 3, 1983, the son of Elizabeth and Francis Hodges, Sr.
Growing up, Frankie enjoyed spending summers in Gramma and Boppa's pool, playing street hockey with family and friends, and riding bikes around the neighborhood. He also had a fondness for helping Gramma in the garden and around the house.
He loved spending weekends and summer holidays at our family cottage in Canada, and more recently, sharing that experience with his children.
Frank found joy in working in IT at New Dimensions, up until his diagnosis. He loved all things computers, electronics, and mechanical. If something needed fixing, Frank was the person to ask.
Frank had a great sense of humor, and always made his sisters laugh, even if it got them in trouble. He attempted to be inventive, though sometimes spent more time trying to make his jobs easier than on the job itself.
He was a proud father to his three kids. He enjoyed playing video games, watching movies, and going on bike rides with the kids. He also enjoyed taking them to local events and attractions, like the zoo and other parks.
Frank lived a simple life, keeping his family and friends close.
Frank is the loving father of Austin Warwick and Aiden and Chloe Hodges; beloved son of Liz and Frank Hodges, Sr.; dearest brother of Theresa Todorov (Matt), Michelle Hodges, Becky Hodges and Samantha Hodges (Jared Paulson); cherished grandson of Dianne Bartle (the late Donald) and Joyce Hodges (the late Donald); adoring uncle to Parker and Ellie.
The Hodges family will receive guests Sunday, February 25, 12-5pm at the funeral home, where a funeral service will be held at 5pm honoring his life.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society in his name.
Please keep the Hodges family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
