Evelyn, of Novi, beloved mother, grandmother and friend, passed into eternal life on Tuesday evening, April 23, 2024, at Ascension Providence Hospital.  She was 95 years old.

Surviving are four devoted children, Karen Hill, Debbie (Bill) Miller, Sherry (Pat) O'Brien, and Gary Murrell; cherished grandchildren, Shaun O'Brien, Tara McCullough, and Ryan and Brittany Murrell; and beloved great-grandchildren, Beckett and Colin McCullough, Logan O'Brien, and Mason Dedivanaj.

Evelyn was preceded in death by husbands, Glenn Murrell in July, 1962, Marco Cioccio in April, 2020, as well as siblings, Mary Formaz and Dick Swanner.

Evelyn was a strong woman - independent, intelligent, curious and classy. She was deeply spiritual, open-minded, adventurous and courageous. She took flying lessons, as a youth; survived, at age 34 (with four young children), the death of her first husband; traveled widely; dreamed big and was always up for a deep, philosophical discussion. Evelyn will be dearly missed by those who had the good fortune of knowing her.

A memorial service will be Sunday, June 9, 1pm, Faith Covenant Church, 35415 W. 14 Mile Rd, Farmington Hills (SW corner of 14 Mile and Drake).
