Elizabeth R. Stasilowicz, "Betty", age 98, passed into eternal life on March 6, 2025.

Betty was born in Toledo, OH, October 25, 1926, the daughter of the late Elizabeth and Raymond Schoeninger.

Betty moved to Michigan and was a lifelong resident.  She graduated from St. Theresa High School and then worked at Detroit Insurance Company.  She married the love of her life, the late, Norman Stasilowicz. They were married for 50 years.

Betty enjoyed bowling, crafting and hosting many parties at their home on Union Lake.

Betty is the loving mother of Mary Lou Stasilowicz, Tom Stasilowicz (Debbie DeRosia), Anne Caid (Roger) and Jane Lauer (Jim); beloved grandmother of Russell Caid (Natalia), Matthew Caid (Erin), Brad Lauer, Steven Lauer, Austin Lauer (Katelin), Brett Caid (Kara), Sarah Stasilowicz and Drew Stasilowicz; cherished great grandmother of Calvin Caid, Lucas Caid, Noah Caid, Lucy Caid, Lincoln Caid and Stefan Caid.

She will be greatly missed but will be forever in our hearts.

A funeral Mass celebrating Betty's life will be Monday, March 10, 11 am (in state 10:30 am), St. Valentine Catholic Church, 14841 Beech Daly, Redford.

She will be laid to rest in a private ceremony next to her husband, Norman at All Saints Cemetery in Waterford, MI.
