Elizabeth Bernice Clarke, formerly of Redford Township, died November 6, 2022, at Courtyard Manor of Swartz Creek, at 100 years old.

Elizabeth was born on December 29, 1921, in Woodstock, Ontario, Canada, to Leslie Arthur Blackwell and his wife, Mary Elizabeth Looney Lewin.  She married the love of her life, Kenneth Arthur Clarke, on August 29, 1940, and he preceded her in death on June 8, 2010.  Elizabeth was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  For many years, Elizabeth was an active member of the Southfield Community Church.

Elizabeth is survived by her three daughters, Jeanne (Dennis) King, Linda (Richard) Streetman, and Mary (Reverend Robert) Taylor.  She also leaves four grandchildren, Steven King, Jennifer Mah, Michael Taylor, and Christine Shuttleworth; eight great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Hailey and Cassidy King, Rachel Mah, Caleb, and Chloe Shuttleworth, and Zachary and Alyssa Taylor; and many nieces and nephews including special nieces, Dorrie Valdez and Mary Coffman.  Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, and her six siblings, Grace Seauvageau, George Lewin, Willan Parker, Norma Kuehn, Arthur Blackwell, and Mary Wiggle.

Elizabeth's funeral ceremony is planned for Friday, November 11, at 12 Noon (visitation from 10:00 am) at the Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home, downtown Farmington.  The Reverend Robert Taylor, Elizabeth's son-in-law, will preside, assisted by other members of the Clarke family.
