Elisabeth
Becker
Dec 1, 1932 — Apr 3, 2026
Farmington Hills
Elisabeth Becker, age 93, of Farmington Hills, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 3, 2026.
Born on December 1, 1932, in Germany. With courage and hope, she immigrated to the United States, where she built a life centered on family, love, and quiet devotion. She was united in marriage to her beloved husband, Martin Becker, with whom she shared 58 wonderful years until his passing on September 9, 2011.
Elisabeth was the heart of her family—a woman whose love was steady, generous, and deeply felt. She was a devoted mother, but it was in her role as "Oma" that her spirit seemed to shine brightest. Her grandchildren were her greatest joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them, offering warmth, wisdom, and unconditional love.
A wonderful homemaker, Elisabeth expressed her love through the meals she lovingly prepared. Her kitchen was a place of comfort and togetherness, where family gathered and memories were made. She had a fondness for life's simple pleasures—especially a piece of dark chocolate—and was known for her signature style, rarely seen without one of her many hats, each worn with grace and personality. Her favorite color, blue, seemed to reflect her calm, steady presence and the peace she brought to those around her.
Elisabeth remained active throughout her life, carrying herself with quiet strength and independence. She also maintained a close connection to her roots, lovingly remembered by her four sisters who reside in Germany.
Above all, Elisabeth will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her devotion to her family, and the love she gave so freely. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the family she so deeply cherished.
Elisabeth is survived by her sons, Roger (Jennifer) Becker and Roy Becker; grandchildren, Travis, Brittany, Troy and Justine; great grandchildren, Elisabeth, Rylee, Kolton and Aubrey; and 4 sisters.
Elisabeth's family will receive guests on Thursday, April 9, beginning at 11 am until the 1 pm funeral service, at the funeral home.
Interment will immediately follow at Glen Eden Memorial Park in Livonia.
