Donna Mae McKeever, age 84, of Novi, passed away surrounded by her family, Friday, April 28, 2023 at Ascension Providence Hospital, Novi Campus.

Donna was born in Chicago, IL, May 3, 1938, the daughter of the late Loretta and Erwin Hekr.

Donna was the loving wife of 68 years to John A. McKeever; beloved mother of John E. McKeever (Deborah), Gerald McKeever (Kimberly), Michelle Chavel (George) and Jeffrey McKeever (Courtney); cherished grandmother of Jonathan, Jason, Nicole, Kristina, Zachary, Seth, Gabrielle, Jessica, Aundrea and Josiah; dearest great grandmother of Jailynn, Jonah, Kyla, Jolton, Grayson, Luke and Jack.

Donna graduated from Cass Tech High School in Detroit. She married the love of her life John, February 5, 1955. They had the most wonderful life together for 68 years and made many long-lasting memories. Donna always enjoyed the time that her family could spend together, during holidays, birthdays or just a morning at church.

The McKeever family will receive friends Wednesday, May 3, 2-8 pm at the funeral home, where a funeral service will be held Thursday, May 4 at 10 am.

Immediately following the service at the funeral home, a funeral procession will take Donna to her final place of rest, Glen Eden Memorial Park, Livonia.
