Donalee Miller, age 90, passed away peacefully  Thursday, September 18, 2025.

Donalee was born in Pontiac, MI, July 12, 1935, the daughter of the late Gertrude and Frederick Miess.

Donalee retired from the West Bloomfield School District after many years serving as a baker. Known for her generous spirit and family-first values, she treasured time spent with loved ones and treated everyone she met as if they were family. Her warm, caring nature made her beloved by neighbors and friends alike, it was rare to find someone who didn't like Donalee.

Donalee and her family enjoyed the community where they raised their children, spending countless happy hours together on the beach and at the community lake. Her devotion to family and community left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and the many people whose lives she touched.

Donalee is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Don.  She is the loving mother of William (Cheryl), Martin (Lorena), Dan (Leslie) and Connie Bonneville; beloved grandmother of Brook, Eric, Nicole, Justin, Danielle and Kimberly and great grandmother of Jameson, Rebecca, Beckham, Katelyn, Kinley, Nicolai, Carter, Arleigh and Ellie; dearest sister of Marilyn, Janet and the following deceased, Barbara, Shirley and Dianne.

The Miller family will receive guests Monday, September 22,  2-7 pm at the funeral home, where a funeral service celebrating her and her husband, Don, will be held at 7 pm.

Donalee and Don will be laid to rest together at Glen Eden Memorial Park, Livonia, MI, at a later date.
