Wonderful mother, sister, wife, friend and neighbor, (great) grandmother and aunt. Quiet, humble, she lived an abundant and grateful life. Dolores loved a good book, black coffee and enjoyed the challenge of a good crossword puzzle. She retired from Hudson's Novi and valued the friends she made along the way. She was always an advocate for a good education and was a proud Detroit Cass Tech High graduate, class of 1942.

She leaves behind a long list of those she loved: daughters Judi (Jack) Helmuth, Marcia (Ken) Slotkowski, Dora, Ruth; sister Eleanor Ritchie; and her faithful companion Yorkie, Violet. Her legacy lives on through grand children and great grandchildren; grandson Zachary (Ami) Nienus and their children Mikhaila, Ava and Soren; granddaughter Jessica (Tony) Yen and their sons Rowan and Remy.

Dolores is predeceased by her husband, Stanley and parents Peter and Stephanie and a sister, Irene.
