Diana Lynn Douglas, a beacon of hope known for her infectious laugh and adventurous spirit, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2024, at Angela Hospice surrounded by loved ones.

Born on March 18, 1955, in Michigan, to Gerald Marcaccini and Janet (Erickson), Diana cherished childhood summers spent exploring Sleeping Bear Dunes.  Her passion for travel continued throughout her life, with countless memories made relaxing on beaches with a good book in hand.

Diana was a pillar of strength for her family and community. Her sons, Rory (Lauren) and Ian (Amber), will forever remember her unwavering love and support. She adored her grandchildren, Nylah Douglas and Jeremiah Fischer, often saying, "To the moon and back!"

Diana's selflessness extended to her role as an AA sponsor, where she achieved nine years of sobriety and mentored countless women on their path to recovery.

Diana is preceded in death by her loving husband, Gary Paul Douglas.
