Deanna "Nancy", of Farmington Hills, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at Ascension Providence Park, Novi. She was 85 years old.

Nancy was born January 30, 1937, in North Bay, Ontario, to the late Frederick and Josephine (Judson) Doubledee.

Nancy attended Wayne State University and Madonna University proudly earning a bachelor's degree at both universities. She volunteered at Botsford hospital for many years managing the giftshop. Nancy was a longtime member of Hill and Dale Garden Club and was a former president and treasurer there. Nancy loved her pets, watching and feeding the birds in her yard, gardening, and being a Detroit Lions fan.

Nancy had a special relationship with her granddaughter, Amy, who truly was the apple of her eye. She was a large part in raising Amy and supporting her education which was important to her. The two were inseparable playmates and friends. A perfect day for the two would be shopping and going out to eat. Their laughs and memories will never be forgotten. Nancy will be deeply missed.

Surviving Nancy are her beloved sons, David Adams and Michael Adams; and her "precious" granddaughter, Amy Adams.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph "Dick" Adams (D.2002).

A private graveside service will take place on Friday, October 28, 2022.
