David Joseph Richey, age 63, of Farmington Hills, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, March 16, 2023.

David was born June 7, 1959, in Detroit, the son of the late David P. and Gloria (Rebh) Richey.

David was a selfless person who would give the shirt off his back to help anyone in need. He was loving, empathetic, protective, and giving. Even when he was watching the news, David would cry at any sad story. He loved spending time with his beloved family, listening to the band Queen, and anything to do with classic cars - especially Pontiac GTOs.

David is survived by his loving children, Katherine (Bill Fedolak) Richey and David (Aimee Neuman) Richey; dear step-daughter, Stephanie Keimer, beloved grandchildren, Malcolm Richey and Jackson Bonner; sister, Lori Udvardy; and significant other, Joanne Agababian.

David is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, John Udvardy.
