David, of Clarkston, age 74, passed away at his home on March 16, 2023.

David was born March 1, 1949, in Chicago, IL, to the late Byron and Jacqueline Bonnheim.

David was the beloved husband of 39 years to Shirley; loving father of Leonard Stewart and Kimberly (Scott) Cairns; devoted grandfather of Elise (Matt) Sutter, and Shae and Adam Cairns; and dear brother of Malcolm (Beverly) and Bruce (Vicki) Bonnheim.  He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and brothers and sisters-in-law.

Family and friends may gather for visitation at the Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home, downtown Farmington, on Wednesday, March 22, from 4-8 pm.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
