Cleola K. McCann, "Cleo", age 62, of West Bloomfield, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, April 3, 2023.

She was born March 17, 1961, in Detroit, MI, the daughter of the late Lois and Stephen Bourke.

Cleo was known as a strong woman, one who would always get the job done, no matter how big or difficult.  She loved her whole family, especially her grandchildren.  She was very impactful to many people's lives, even giving valuable advice to her kid's friends.  Her family knew her as being the rock of the family.  Cleo loved to cook and was very good at it, that was why it was her lifelong dream to own a restaurant.  Her dream came true when she became the owner of a Tubby's Sub Shop in downtown Farmington.  Above all her great attributes, Cleo was always ready to have fun and enjoy her life.

Cleo is preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, Joseph McCann.  She is the loving mother of Nicole Bourke (Jason) and Tina Simpson (Johnathan); beloved grandmother of Dominick Bliss, Jason Bliss Jr, Alexis Simpson, Adalyn Simpson and the late Alyssa Simpson; cherished significant other of Bruce Sable; fondest sister of Terri Frizzell (the late Steve) and George Holt (Chris), she is also an aunt to many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her loving life will be held Sunday, April 23, 2-6 pm at Corsi's Banquet Center, 27910 W. Seven Mile Rd (west of Inkster Rd), Livonia, 48152.  Everyone is welcome and invited to join her family for this celebration.
