Charles "Chuck"
A. Peltier, Iii
Apr 26, 1958 — Jul 1, 2026
Farmington Hills
Charles A. "Chuck" Peltier, III, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, July 1, 2026. He was 68 years old.
Chuck was born April 26, 1958, in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Charles and Geraldine (Klee) Peltier. On July 23, 1977, he married the love of his life, Antoinette "Toni" Prusinski, in Royal Oak. Together, Chuck and Toni shared 49 years of marriage, building a life centered around family, hard work, devotion, and countless memories.
Chuck was a hardworking man and a good provider. He believed in taking care of the people he loved, often putting the needs of others before his own. If someone needed a dollar, Chuck would have given them his last one. Though he could be stern and was known to enjoy a good argument, those who knew him best understood that beneath his strong personality was a generous heart and a deep love for his family.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and gambling, and he loved the outdoors and the company of those closest to him. Chuck also had a playful side. He liked to joke around, scare people, pull pranks, and keep everyone on their toes. He especially loved hearing Toni's stories from her days driving school bus, hearing about her workday and the kids.
Family meant everything to Chuck. He was protective of those he loved, always looking out for them, and he worried especially about his sister because she lived so far away. He was deeply proud of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved them "to the moon and back." That phrase became one of his favorite sayings to them and will remain a treasured reminder of his love.
Chuck is survived by his wife of 49 years, Toni; daughters, Victoria (Edward Finley) Peltier and Alycia (Steven) Dennis; grandchildren, Charles Edward "Chad" (Angel) Peltier, Tyler Joseph "TJ" (Tailer Kudron) Griffith, Danielle Brooke Dennis, Brandi Rose Finley and Erika Michelle Dennis; great grandchildren, Nataliah Maria Natho, Charles Edward "JR" Peltier, Evelyn Iris "Evie" Griffith and Samuel James "James" Griffith; sister, Debra (Richard) Wolf. Sadly, Chuck was preceded in death by is brothers, Ronald George, William Joseph and Kenneth Edward Peltier.
Chuck's family will receive guests on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, from 2-8 pm, with a 7 pm funeral service, at the funeral home.
Please keep Chuck and his family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
