Carole Ann "Boots" Alonzo, age 80, of W. Bloomfield, passed away Friday, October 13, 2023.

Carole was born January 10, 1943, in Detroit, the daughter of Philip and Lucille (Barlow) Agius.  She attended St. Anne Catholic School and graduated from St. Casimir High School.  Carole married Andrew Alonzo on November 17, 1962.

Carole is the beloved wife of 60 years to Andrew; loving mother of Roxann and Nicholas (Melik) Alonzo; grandmother of Hartley Gabbard; dear sister of Robert and Timothy (Evelyn) Agius.  Sadly, Carole was preceded in death by brothers, Philip and Nicholas Agius.

The Alonzo family will receive guests on Tuesday, October 17, 2-8 pm, with a 7 pm Rosary, at the Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home, 23720 Farmington Road, Farmington.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday October 18, 10 am (in state 9:30 am) at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 23615 Power Road, Farmington.

Interment will take place immediately following mass at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield
