Carol D. Finkel, age 80, of Northville, passed away Monday, May 29, 2023.

Carol was born April 26, 1943, in Hamtramck, the daughter of Harry and Theresa Kowalski.  She married Seymour D. Finkel on July 20, 1985, and he preceded her in death on May 10, 2012.

Carol is the beloved mother of Suzanne (Dale) Schmidt and Jill (Tony) Janisse; loving grandmother of Kali Guererro and Ian Janisse; great grandmother of Mia, Monroe, Mattea and Myla.  Sadly, besides her husband, Carol was preceded in death by her sister, Phyllis Ludorf.

Carol's family will receive guests on Sunday, June 4th, 3-7 pm, at the funeral home, with 5 pm Scripture Service.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 5th, 11 am (gathering at 10:30 am), at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 133 Orchard Drive, Northville.  A private burial will take place following Mass.

Memorial tributes are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
