Bryant E. "Butch" McKune, III

Butch, of Ypsilanti, beloved son and brother, entered into eternal life on Friday afternoon, October 2, 2026, at his home. He was 68 years old. 

Butch was born May 26, 1958, at Mount Carmel Hospital in Detroit, to Bryant and Dr. Joanne McKune. He is survived by his devoted parents, as well as his sister, Kathleen, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. 

Family and friends may gather for visitation at the Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home in downtown Farmington on Tuesday, October 6, from, 3-6 pm.

Butch's funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday morning, October 7, at 11:30 am (in state at 11:00 am) at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 23615 Power Rd., Farmington.

Graveside prayers will immediately follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes are kindly suggested to Adult Learning Systems, 8170 Jackson Road, Suite F, Ann Arbor, MI 48103.
