Bernadette, of Bristow, Virginia, formerly of Farmington Hills, loving mother and sister, passed into eternal life at home on Tuesday, February 21, 2023.  She was 78 years old.

Bernadette was born on January 10, 1945, in Detroit, to the late Stanley and Mary (Witalec) Zubel.  She married David H. Davis on May 26, 1967, at Saint Sabina Catholic Church in Dearborn Heights.  Sadly, David passed away on September 19, 2017.

Surviving are her three devoted children, Stephen, Pamela, and Mary Davis; and her brother, Stanley (the late Gail) Zubel.  In addition to her husband, Bernadette was preceded in death by two brothers, John (Olivia) Zubel and Casimir (Diane) Zubel.

Family and friends may gather for visitation at the Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home, downtown Farmington, on Tuesday, February 28, from 2-8 pm.  A time of prayer and remembrances is scheduled for 7 pm.

Bernadette's funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday morning, March 1, at 10:00 am (in state at 9:30 am) at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 23615 Power Rd., Farmington.

Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery will follow the funeral luncheon.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Capuchins, the Redemptorists Religious Order, or for Masses.
