Audrey A. Zielinski, age 86, of Farmington Hills, passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2023.

Audrey was born June 25, 1936, in Detroit, the daughter of Joseph and Marie (Bazucki) Zielinski.

Audrey was the Administrative Assistant with the Detroit Tigers for 60 years.  She was named Woman Executive of the Year in 1996, by the National Association of Professional Baseball Leagues.

Audrey is survived by her sister, Elizabeth "Jean" DeBroux and her husband Richard (Reg) DeBroux, former Mayor of Appleton, Combined Locks, WI, a niece, Lara Anne Sciaraffa-Long (Rick) Grayslake, IL. and special and dear friends Kevin and Cheryl Snycerski, Livonia, who were with me on this journey helping me every step of the way.  And a special thank you to all the nurses on staff at Beaumont Commons where she was a resident who cared for her with such care and concern as if she were their own.  I thank you all so dearly.

She was the most wonderful and loving sister and my best friend.  Such a good and kind person to all who knew her.  Devoted daughter to her beloved parents.  I have lost part of myself and will miss her unil the end of my life.  Farewell dear sister.

A private burial will take place at Holy Sepulchre in Southfield.  Her family will have a private family Mass in Wisconsin at a later date.

In lieu of the customary remembrances, memorial tributes may be directed to the charity of your choice in Audrey's name.
