Ashley Blake Abidin, age 44, of Livonia, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, January 21, 2026.

Ashley was born on October 25, 1981, in Livonia, Michigan, the beloved son of Gerald and Linda (Guill) Abidin. He married the love of his life, Nichole Pietrzyk, on October 15, 2017, and together they built a home filled with laughter, love, and countless shared moments.

A skilled mechanic and technician at Weingartz, Ashley was known for his strong work ethic and remarkable ability to fix just about anything. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and never hesitated to step up for anyone in Need. Ashley was the best Dog Dad to his two dogs, Rambo and Major.

Ashley was truly one of a kind — hilarious, quick-witted, and able to make anyone laugh. He was a devoted brother and shared a special bond with his twin brother, Ryan, especially enjoying their time together on the golf course. Above all, Ashley was a proud and loving father to his son, Liam. He treasured every moment they spent together — whether it was playing baseball, building with Legos, competing in video games, and creating new memories like going out to museums, walks in the woods, cars shows etc.…

Ashley also enjoyed relaxing evenings watching shows with Nichole, traveling up north, watching thunderstorms, and exploring his interests in history and space documentaries.

Ashley leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of laughter, kindness, creativity, and love that will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew him.

Ashley is survived by his wife, Nichole; son Liam; step daughter, Leah; mother, Linda Abidin; siblings, Jerry Abidin, Jr., Gina (Chris) Sullivan, Lana (Steve) Mastalier, Jason (Julie) Abidin, Nicole Hurosky, Brandon (Caroline) Abidin and Ryan Abidin; mother-in law, Kathy Mounsey (Paul); aunt and uncles Linda and Pat McCarthy and Ken Mounsey; cousins, Chris, Pam ( Bryon) and Michelle (Nick); and numerous extended family members. Sadly, Ashley was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Abidin, his brother, Adam Abidin, and nephew, Nicolas Gerald Huroskey.
