Annick M. Nowak, "Ann", age 68 of Northville, passed away peacefully at home, Thursday, October 20, 2022.

She was born in Paris, France, September 28, 1954, the daughter of Fernande and the late Daniel Loty.

Ann came to the USA on a ship when she was 2 years old with her parents and her brother.  She loved her family very much.  She would regularly attend her nieces and nephews' activities, such as hockey and gymnastics.  She especially loved her only granddaughter, Maya, and would do anything she could to spend time with her.  Ann worked for Comerica Bank as a check processor for over 35 years, mostly working the night shift.  She loved playing board games with anyone.  Ann was known to be very competitive, she hated to lose and would do everything she could to win.  She loved watching and rooting for the Detroit Tigers, and also enjoyed old movies, especially the ones with Elvis in them.  Unfortunately, Ann lost her best friend, her dog Felicia, who meant the world to her, last year.

Ann is the cherished daughter of Fernande; loving mother of Mark A. Nowak and Mary F. Vartanian (Bryan); beloved grandmother of Maya Vartanian; dearest sister of Maureen Loty (Art Doran) and the late, Patrick Loty; fondest sister-in-law of Matthew Nowak (Elizabeth) and aunt to Jacob Nowak (Mary), Zachary Nowak and Rachel Rodriguez (Thomas).  She will also be forever missed by her extended family in France.

It was Ann's wishes to be cremated.
