Anna, of Howell, beloved wife, sister, aunt, and friend, passed into eternal life on Sunday, October 2, 2022, at St. Joseph Mercy Livingston Hospital, Howell.  She was 71 and in declining health for several days.

Anna was born September 7, 1951, in Superior Township, Michigan, to the late J.T. and Joan (Squires) Choate.  She married Jack D. Lawrence on July 31, 1971, at the First Presbyterian Church in Northville.

Anna was an animal lover and especially loved her cats over the years, as well as her Macaw, Sparty.  She was very social and loved to tell stories and share a good joke.  Anna was always very concerned for others and deeply cared about the future of our country.  She loved music, especially guitar, and was known as a wonderful singer.  Moreover, she had a knack for decorating and loved interior design and preparing homes for the holidays.  May she rest in peace.

Surviving are her beloved husband of 51 years, Jack; brothers, William "Skip" Choate and Scott (Angie) Choate; eight nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.

Visitation is planned for Friday, October 7, from 3-8 pm, at the funeral home.

Anna's funeral ceremony is scheduled for Saturday morning, October 8, at 11:00 am, also at Heeney-Sundquist.

Interment will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Park, Livonia.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions will be used at the discretion of Anna's family.
