Angela Theresa
Paul
Aug 21, 1935 — Dec 27, 2025
Walled Lake
Angela Theresa Paul, daughter of the late Felix Philip Burch and Clara Ann Johnson, was born on August 21, 1935, in Dearborn, Michigan. She passed away peacefully on December 27, 2025.
Angela was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother whose love, generosity, and boundless energy touched the lives of all who knew her. A woman of deep faith, Angela's devotion to God guided her life and showed to those around her with her kindness, strength, and committed spirit.
Angela was known for her independence, her helpful nature, and her ability to make everyone feel cared for and valued. She had a remarkable talent for crafting, creating beautiful quilts, blankets, and fleece projects that brought warmth and comfort to family and friends. Angela enjoyed camping with her family - whether in a large army tent in the backyard when the boys were young or later hooking up their travel trailer and heading out to various locales. Campfires, card games and Angela's favorite - grilled hot dogs and hamburgers were common weekend fares. This fun continued as she hosted sleepovers for her grandchildren, often turning the family RV into a front-yard adventure filled with laughter, stories, and memories that will be cherished forever. In addition, Angela and Bernie loved to round and square dance, as well as roller skate. When the boys were older and moved out of state, they enjoyed traveling to catch up with them - whether in Florida, Oklahoma, Texas, Arizona or Oregon. While Bernie was often found on the homefront Angela traveled to Scandinavia, the Holy Land, Washington D.C., and the East Coast. However, after garnering a top sales award from Liberty Mutual, Bernie and Angela enjoyed a grand paradise retreat to Hawaii. Angela enjoyed her friendships and found varied connections with her quilting and gardening clubs, as well as volunteering at Botsford Hospital, distributing the Eucharist to people unable to attend Mass, volunteering through St. Clare Assisi and Life Directions, as well ushering at the Fisher Theater.
Angela is survived by her beloved children, Lawrence Paul (Susan), Michael Paul (Lynn), and Robert Paul (Karen); adored grandchildren: Amanda Lahman, Antonia Regan (Tyler), Gabriele Paul, David Paul (Sarah), Lauren McDonald (Cody), Emily Roberts (Ian), Sierra Paul, and Hailey Paul; great-grandchildren: Hannah Lahman, Madison Lahman, Aleksander McDonald, Marek McDonald, Ailish McDonald, Emeryk McDonald, Armand McDonald, Morgan McDonald, Reese Rochowiak, and Charlotte Rochowiak; and great-great-grandson Mateo Lahman. Angela was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bernie; son, David Paul (Sharon); and her granddaughter, Brandi (Paul) Morgan.
Angela's life was a testament to love, faith, and family. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
