Andrew C.
Boudreau
Sep 8, 1978 — Sep 23, 2024
Andy, of Walled Lake, unexpectedly passed into eternal life on Monday, September 23, at the young age of 46.
Andy was an extraordinary man who brought joy, laughter, and love to all who knew him. He was the most likable guy—genuine, kind, and instantly loved by everyone he met. His enthusiasm for life was contagious, and he was always up for a good time.
Andy had a passion for music and loved dancing, especially to live bands. A talented drummer, he could often be found tapping out rhythms—on drums or in the air. He also had a deep love for football, cheering on the Detroit Lions and Michigan Wolverines, as well as rooting for the Tigers. Andy loved the lake, boating, and bonfires, and always cherished the fall season. He was also known as the Clark Griswold of the neighborhood, making Christmas a dazzling, festive affair every year.
Andy was a man of many adventures. From Cedar Point to houseboat trips on Lake Cumberland, Put-In-Bay, Frankenmuth, and the Lani Kai on Ft. Myers Beach, he loved to travel and make memories with family and friends. His generosity and thoughtfulness were legendary; he was always the first to offer a helping hand or a kind word.
He adored his family, including his parents, siblings, nieces, nephews, and, of course, his beloved cats and dog, August. He was a loyal friend, a funny jokester, and a polite, chivalrous gentleman. Andy had a knack for remembering every movie line and loved sharing his knowledge of films with those around him.
For nearly 30 years, Andy honed his craft as a finish carpenter, his talents recognized and appreciated by all who worked with him. He spent the last decade working at Ryan Construction, where he was respected and admired for his skill, dedication, and hard work.
Above all, Andy was a loving husband, stepdad, son, uncle, baby brother, and friend. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and joy that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Andy was preceded in death by his sister Marian in 2019, his mom Janice in 2021, and his sister-in-law Kim in 2022.
Andy is survived by his wife Sunshine; stepson Jackson; stepdaughter Annie; dad Ted (Lynda) Boudreau Sr.; siblings Joe (Vickie) Boudreau, Ted (the late Kim) Boudreau Jr., the late Marian (Dan) Halkey, Kelly (Tim Kerkan) Boudreau and Jenny (Todd) Rew; nieces Alexandria, Lauren, Emily, Rachel; nephews Brandon (Jillian) Boudreau, Nicholas (Rhannon) Boudreau, Jake Rew, and Troy Halkey.
Family and friends may gather for visitation at Heeney-Sundquist on Sunday afternoon, September 29, from 1-4 pm.
Andy, you were one of a kind. We will miss your laughter, your thoughtfulness, and your extraordinary spirit.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish to support Andy's family may do by means of a contribution to offset his unexpected funeral expenses.
Kindly keep Andy and his family in your thoughts and prayers during this terribly difficult time.
