Andrea was born in Royal Oak, Michigan, the daughter of the late Joseph and Charlotte (Smith) Fields.

Andrea was always living her best life. She spent her summers growing up in Caseville, MI, and would return yearly for the Cheeseburger in Caseville Festival. She loved attending events where she could dress up. Upscaled parties, murder mysteries as a member of the Red Hat Ladies, going to the Detroit opera, listening to symphonies, and going to the theater were some of her favorite pastimes. Andrea enjoyed dancing and performed with the Polynesian Dancers of Michigan for many years.

Andrea was elegant and sophisticated, but she also enjoyed the simpler things in life. She enjoyed spending time with her beloved family, being outdoors, volunteering at the local Salvation Army, gardening, having bonfires, and attracting wildlife to her yard. We will never forget all the laughs and good times we had together. She will be dearly missed.

Andrea is survived by her loving husband of almost 42 years, Jeffery; beloved sons, Trevor Tobel and Tyler (Victoria Malus-Tobel) Tobel; and dear brothers, Mark (Rose Marie) Fields and Matthew (Gary) Fields-Huckstep. She is preceded in death by her siblings, Jeffrey Fields and Maureen Toutant.

A funeral service for Andrea will be held on Saturday, April 22, at 12 pm at the funeral home, where the Tobel family will greet friends beginning at 9 am .

Donations may be directed to the American Cancer Society or American Red Cross to honor Andrea's life.

A private burial will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, in Southfield, immediately following funeral services.
