Andrea Pacitto, of Farmington, loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed into eternal life on Sunday morning, May 21, 2023.  He was 88 years old.

Andrea was born on September 2, 1934, in Valleluce, Italy, to the late Gaetano and Antonia (Persechini) Pacitto.  He married Antonietta "Toni" (Cuozzo) in 1957 and together have enjoyed 66 years of marriage.

In addition to his beloved wife, Andrea is survived by five devoted children, Maria Pacitto, Gaetano (Sharlene) Pacitto, Anna (Jay) Pelepchuk, Bertha (Todd) Ferguson, and Domenica "Monica" (Ray) Ingles; cherished grandchildren, Michael (Tami) Langenright, Leah (Matt) Miller, Kurt Boesen, Christina (Ryan) Bierschbach, Joshua (Danielle) Ferguson, Mae Ferguson, Andrew Ingles, John Ingles, Matthew Ingles, Luke Ingles, and Hunter Pelepchuk; and adored great-grandchildren, Eva, Louella, Gideon, and Rowan.

Andrea was deeply proud of his Italian heritage and brought much of his beloved culture with him from Italy when he immigrated at a young age.  He was a gifted vegetable and flower gardener whose garden was the envy of his Farmington neighborhood.  He enjoyed playing soccer and bocci in his youth and had a magnificent tenor singing voice that served him well in choir.  Coming from very humble roots, Andrea was masterful at making something from nothing.  He was very hard-working and resourceful with an incredible work ethic and provided well for his family.  May his kind and generous soul rest in peace.

Family and Friends may gather for visitation at Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 23, from 2-8 pm, with a 7 pm rosary.

Andrea's funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday morning, May 24, at 10:00 am (in state 9:30 am) at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 23615 Power Rd., Farmington.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Dementia Society of America.
